Hospital Foundation Assists with the Purchase of a C-Arm Imaging Machine

September 1, 2020

The Hammond-Henry Hospital Foundation assisted the recent purchase of a C-Arm Imaging machine for the hospital.  During the past annual appeal campaign, $60,000 was raised toward this purchase.  The previous C-Arm was at its end of life making an upgrade essential to achieve our ideal level of care.  A C-Arm is a mobile x-ray machine that is used during surgeries and in the pain clinic. It rotates around the patient to gain the necessary angle.  For example, if a bone needs pins or screws the x-ray technologist positions the C-Arm at the ideal angle. Then, the machine delivers real-time x-rays so the surgeon can precisely see where the procedure needs to take place. We thank those who contributed to this campaign and value your support.
