Hammond-Henry Home Health Helps Patients in Need During COVID-19

April 28, 2020

HHH Home Health team COVID project for patients

The Hammond-Henry Hospital Home Health team has been assisting patients during this COVID-19 crisis.
Home Health employees are continuing to make visits to patients’ homes, as many folks are home sick with something else completely unrelated to COVID-19.   These patients are either unable to afford items to live on, or have no one to go to the store for them.  The nurses have been delivering food and a few other staples to these patients in need.  The patients live in various towns, as Home Health serves the entire Henry County.

Some local service clubs and individuals were asked to help with this project.  A thank you to the Geneseo Kiwanis members, Geneseo Rotary club and Hospital staff who have made donations totaling $4,020 to support this project.  Also, a thank you to the Geneseo Fareway  store for partnering with the hospital on the food and other purchases needed.

We hope together we can help these individuals on their path to healing.
