Hammond-Henry Hospital Auxiliary awards $42,000 in healthcare career scholarships
Congratulations to our Hammond-Henry Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship winners! Our Auxiliary awarded $42,000 in scholarships to 19 students during last evening's Ice Cream Social fundraiser at the Geneseo City Park.
Scholarship recipients include Tracy Underwood, Master of Science in Nursing; Alexis Keegan, Master of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine; Sarah Barrett, Undergraduate Degree in Nursing; Tara Bomleny, Undergraduate Degree in Nursing; Brooke Bonne, Undergraduate Degree in Nursing; Riley DeMay, Undergraduate Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics; Courtney VandeVoorde, Undergraduate Degree in Medical Laboratory Scientist; Emma Stone, Undergraduate Degree in Nursing; Marley Cherry, Undergraduate Degree in Nursing; Katelynn Emerick, Associate's Degree in Nursing; Sierra Krueger, Associate's Degree in Nursing; Karen Patterson, Associate's Degree in Nursing; and Abigail Rusk, Associates Degree as a Radiographer.
Other scholarship winners included Will Daniels, Doctor of Medicine; Rachel Daniels, Doctor of Dentistry; Drew Himmelman, Doctor of Physical Therapy; Hannah Hogue, Master of Science and Speech Pathology; Reagan Erickson, Undergraduate Degree of Speech Pathology; and Tori Nielsen, Undergraduate Degree in Nursing.
Kathleen Van De Rostyne serves as the Volunteer/Auxiliary Supervisor and Jan Sellman and Linda DeSmith serve among the Auxiliary's leadership. All proceeds made by the Hammond-Henry Hospital Auxiliary go towards healthcare career scholarship funds or for pledge projects for the hospital.
