| Hammond-Henry Auxiliary recently purchased a birthing bed shown here with mom, Robyn Davis (center) and her son, Hayden both of Kewanee. The LDRP bed (labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum) is designed for the mom to stay in for the entire hospital stay. According to Shelly Bartoluzzi, obstetrics nurse manager, "The bed is
lightweight and easy to use. It includes lumbar support and the adjustments can be made easily by staff or patients." The Hill-Rom Affinity Three Birthing Bed is a part of the Auxiliary's pledge for hospital equipment. Pictured representing the Auxiliary are Julie West (left),Volunter/Auxiliary Manager and Florence Hendrickson(right), Hammond-Henry Auxiliary President.
