Are you interested in training for the Bix 7 or QC Marathon?
Join The Summit Running Club
When:
Bix 7 - Tuesdays at 6pm beginning, May 20th
for 10 weeks...leading up to the Bix 7 Run.
QC Marathon - Tuesdays at 6pm beginning, June 3rd
for 18 weeks...leading up to the QC Marathon.
Where:
Geneseo High School Activity Facility
700 N. State St. - Geneseo, IL
Cost:
Bix 7 Run - $50
QC Marathon - $75
Combined cost for both is $100

The Summit Sport Performance, a division of Hammond-Henry Hospital, is proud to announce the 2nd Summit Sport Performance High School Combine.
This opportunity will be available to any interested male football athlete currently enrolled as a sophmore or junior (10-11) in high school.
When:
Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 1pm
Where:
Geneseo High School Activity Center
700 N. State St. - Geneseo, IL
Cost:
$50 pre-registration deadline; $75 post-registration deadline
$10 with sign-up for Summer Football Summit
Entry fee includes:
T-shirt, letter of performance by Certificed Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Testing:
40 yard dash - timed electronically and hand held
Vertical jump
Standing long jump,
5-10-5 Short Shuttle (Pro Agility)
10-20-10 Long Shuttle
3 Cone Drill
185 bench press for repetitions

| Junior Volunteer Program |

| | Applications are available for the summer Junior Volunteer Program at the hospital information desk, the volunteer office or click here.
Applications should be turned in at Hammond-Henry Hospital.
This program is for young men or women entering the eighth grad or older as of the school year of 2007-08.

| | Hammond-Henry Hospital Foundation Community Benefits committee is planning a series of Women's Health programs that will be offered monthly at the Cellar in Geneseo.
Health professionals and other experts will offer information during the luncheon program on a variety of topics affecting women's health.
Women's Health program topics are:
Medication Interactions - April, 24, 2008
Vertigo - May 22, 2008
Stages of Menopause - June 26, 2008
Each program is held at 12:00noon - 1:00p.m. The cost of lunch is $7.00 payable at the door.

| | The Hammond-Henry Hospital Foundation is hosting a CUBS trip.
Chicago Cubs vs Colorado Rockies at Wrigley Field on:
Friday, May 30, 2008 (game time is 1:20)
and
(Sold out) Milwaukee vs. Cubs in Milwaukee on:
Thursday, July 31, 2008 (game time is 1:05)
The bus leaves the hospital Southeast parking lot at 8 am.
Cost is $75 per person and includes a ticket, charter bus ride, continental breakfast, snacks, refreshments, good company and lots of fun!!
All signups must be paid in full at the time of registration. We will plan to stop a food court on the way home.

| | The annual Hammond-Henry Hospital Auxiliary Ice Cream Social will be held:
Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Geneseo City Park
Serving begins at 5:00 p.m.
Menu includes: BBQ's, Pie, Cake, Ice Cream and Beverages
Entertainment by the Green River Band at 7:00 p.m.
Scholarship presentation at 6:45 p.m.
Proceeds benefit Hammond-Henry Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Fund. |

| Shuttle Service |

The Hammond-Henry Hospital Auxiliary provides a shuttle service to hospital visitors and customers.
The service is designed to make it easier for people who come to the hospital, clinics, or physician offices.
The shuttle is staffed by 24 volunteers from 9a.m. - 12p.m. and 1p.m. - 4p.m. It has an enclosure for inclement weather conditions. |
