Three surgeries had not helped Virginia Humbert's ability to control her bladder. "I was up 6 or 7 times a night and was exhausted," she says. "After 6 weeks of treatment I was able to sleep through the night and could go out in public with confidence. It was amazing."
Hammond-Henry Hospital's Occupational Therapy department designed a therapy program that changed Humbert's life. She participated in a once a week "Beyond Kegel's Program" in the clinic and continued the individualized exercise program at home.
"I'm now more at peace with myself, more self-confident," Humber states with a huge smile. "I would recommend this solution to anyone who suffers from incontinence."
