Here's a view looking north in the middle of the buildings.  It's hard to imagine how the older portions that were demolished fit together in the current location.  As you can see, construction is ongoing.  The two-story hallway with the blue cap will be extended to the south in this next phase, linking all the buildings together.  It's been quite the challenge transfering meals, supplies, linens and trash.  Luckily, the snow has been minimal.

Below is a better view of the curved dining room wall that will look out onto the new courtyard.

The last picture is a view of the new administrative area that is now located on the previous extended care floor.  The entire second floor is complete and will also accommodate patient accounts, finance, human resources, payroll, quality management, sleep lab and Dr. Atwell's new clinic space.  We are awaiting the Illinois Department of Public Health to survey the space and our new operating room in order to occupy the new areas.
