Demolition has begun in the previous endoscopy suite which is located at the north end of the surgery corridor. You may see that brick has been removed from the west wall facing College Avenue. The final plans for the third operating room are to include windows which are a feature found in new surgical suites. Great care has gone into maintaining the sterile environment of the rest of the surgery department as this room is constructed.
The long term care building is slightly more than three weeks from scheduled completion. Flooring is installed in all patient/resident rooms; ceiling tile is in place in all rooms. Remaining work includes finishing the "spa", installation of flooring in the hallways and dining rooms, and other finish work. Air handlers were installed with a crane two weeks ago.
Significant work has been completed over the last few weeks in the south service building. The picture below is the installation of the chillers for the new server room within our information technology department. Completion of this building is slated for mid-July.
