Nurse Intern Program
At Hammond-Henry Hospital, we offer nursing students an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build confidence through our Nurse Intern Program. This program allows students to engage in direct patient care while earning an income, all under the guidance and supervision of experienced Registered Nurses.
As a Nurse Intern, you’ll:

Provide direct patient care while gaining practical, real-world experience.

Enhance your assessment skills and develop organizational and time management expertise.

Build strong professional relationships with RNs, deepening your understanding of the nursing profession.

Potentially secure permanent employment upon successful completion of the program if job vacancies are available.
This program is ideal for nursing students who are:

Enrolled in a professional nursing program leading to licensure as an RN.

Entering their last year of nursing curriculum.

In good standing with their nursing school at the time of application.
Program Details:

Three full-time positions (36 hours/week) available for June, July, and August, including every third weekend.

Part-time positions available every third weekend, starting in mid-August until graduation.
