Job Description

The Director of Revenue Cycle (DRC) is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic and personnel activities for the Revenue Cycle. This position will direct and oversee the overall policies, objectives and initiatives of the revenue cycle to optimize the patient’s interactions and efficient processes while maximizing cashflow. Departmental oversight includes scheduling, pre-authorization of services, registration, coding, health information management, privacy, charge master oversight, billing, collections and provider insurance credentialing. The Director will also assist department managers in their charge capture processes in relation to reconciliations and validation of procedures. The duties include establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for Hammond-Henry Hospital (HHH). While the range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, the position’s major responsibility is directing the day-to-day operations, budgeting, fiscal management and human resource management of the Registration, Scheduling, Health Information Management and Business Office.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration or Accounting
- EPIC software experience required
- Five to ten years’ experience in a health care management, preferred
Grade 25
