Job Description

A registered nurse who is responsible for direct and indirect nursing care of the patients/residents on his/her assigned unit during a given period of time. Also responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to him/her. Works closely with all members of the professional team, medical staff, patients/residents and their families. Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.

May cross-train to cover PAT (pre-admission teaching).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current registered nurse license in the State of Illinois.
• Current BLS, ACLS certifications required within 6 months of hire.
