Job Description
Registered Nurse will:
- Be responsible for direct and indirect nursing care of the patients/residents on her/his assigned unit during a given period of time
- Be responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to him/her
- Adhere to the nursing standards of care for the department
- Work closely with all members of the Professional Team, Medical Staff, patients/residents, and their families
- Work under the direction of the Unit Manager, House Supervisor or Charge Nurse.
Access to protected health information is limited to the minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- Have a good understanding and work with a shared decision-making philosophy
- Must have good communication skills and work with an interdisciplinary team approach
- BLS certification required
