Description:  24 hours a pay period. A Staff nurse is a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who is responsible for direct and indirect nursing care of the patients/residents on her assigned unit during a given period of time. He/She is also responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to her. Works closely with all members of the Professional Team, Medical Staff, patients/residents and their family.
