Job Description
A House Supervisor is a registered nurse who is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of patient/residents in the hospital personnel working his/her designated shift. Adheres to the nursing standard of care. Works closely with all members of the professional team, medical staff, patients and their families. Is accountable to Administration and the Medical/Surgical Manager Access to information is limited to minimum necessary to perform the duties of the job.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid licensure by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
- ECRN and TNCC within one year of employment.
