Area Fire Departments Receive AEDs

Osco and Andover fire departments receive Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs)

Hammond-Henry Foundation donated two AEDs to the Osco Fire Department on Wednesday, September 8. From left are Fire Chief Roger Stancliff, Reverend Jan Veseth, pastor of Augustana Lutheran Church Andover who suggested the fire department request the AEDs, Dave Crippen, Andover village president, and Gary Bennett, RN, a community educator who will train the firefighters. Valued at $1,800 each, the AEDs (including extra batteries and pads) will be placed in the Osco and Andover fire stations.
