We had some delays in completing the endoscopy suite with the addition of some equipment that will make the process easier. Painting is complete, with floorin installation slated for the second week of February. Ceiling installation starts next week, with doors and cabinetry to follow the next week. Televisions for each of the recovery rooms have been ordered. Flooring will be installed in two weeks.
The rehab space, pictured above, is located on the second floor. will be changing quickly over the next few weeks. The rehab gym will remain "open" in the back quarter of the picture. Treatment rooms, occupational therapy space, the therapists work room and the waiting room will begin to be shelled in with metal studs. You can also see brickwork starting behind the plastic in the background.
The picture above shows the hallway within the long term care building. The archway highlights a sitting area for patients and residents to rest on their way to the library, dining room or therapy room. Drywall has been installed in limited areas and will begin throughout the LTC building next week.
Preparations for the storm have been made with all contractors. Those from outside the area have motel rooms and we plan to have a pretty full crew working indoors tomorrow. We'll see how the storm goes tonight!
