We would like to thank you for participating in our growth as a part of the community and as a caring hospital. It has been another exciting year at Hammond-Henry and the completion of the building project is in sight. The Foundation continues its mission to grow and support the efforts of the hospital. Traditionally, the Foundation has conducted a year-end giving campaign, and we will continue this tradition in 2012 in addition to the capital campaign that is still underway.
In 2011, the goal of our year-end campaign project was to provide funds for concrete patios and sidewalks for the garden by the new dining room. Thanks to your help, that goal was reached and the garden has become a beautiful, peaceful space for patients, families, and staff to enjoy. This year, the Foundation’s goal is to raise funds to remodel the Emergency Department. For some, this is the first and only department they may see of our hospital, so we want to make sure that it looks as good as the rest of the building. We have been servicing record numbers in the Emergency Department this past year, so we believe that this is a very worthy project for the Foundation. The project will include new floor tile and new paint at a cost of $30,000.
Please consider supporting our continuing effort to provide excellent patient care to our community. If you would like to participate in our 2012 year-end campaign, you may donate online. We invite you to join us and to be a part of our success.
For those of you 70 1/2 and older, a direct distribution of your IRA rollover may be the best way to donate a gift.
