Construction is now complete in the new kitchen and dining room. Also, the new health information management (medical records) area is complete and occupying the space in the previous courtyard. Speaking of courtyard, we are so pleased with the new one. It will be a great place for visitors, outdoor diners, special events and just a place to enjoy the surroundings.
The new Quad City Kidney Center is also complete and awaiting approval for occupancy. Once these departments relocate from the 1953 building, demolition will begin. We expect about six weeks for the building to come down and make way for the new east entrance and parking lot.
That leaves two "small" projects- the registration area and the front entrance.
