We have been blessed with great weather over the past six weeks. This has allowed us to make substantial progress on the project. The building to the south and east of the hospital is the new long term care facility. The metal skeleton of the building is virtually completed. Concrete floors have been poured, and work has begun on the exterior.
The south service building is the part of the project sporting the large structural steel. This building will house our support services on the first floor and the new rehab facility on the second floor. The steel beams are nearly complete. Masonry work may start as early as the first of December.
The new endoscopy suite is quickly taking shape in the space previously occupied by Dr. Atwell and Dr. Leno. We could have the space nearly completed within another month. Once the state health department approves occupancy, we can begin the construction of our third operating room. More on the features of that new room later!
